Business Immigration

Immigration can be divided into two sections, employment-based visas and family-based visas. We have (somewhat arbitrarily) included asylum and the like under family-based visas; please note that we do not provide legal services for family-based visas. Under US immigration law, there are two basic categories of travelers to the United States - immigrants (those who intend to stay) and nonimmigrants (those who intend to return to their home country). There are different types of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for persons with different backgrounds and qualifications.

Although the following information is directed largely towards travelers to the United States with a business purpose, do not hesitate to contact us with questions regarding other types of visas. Obviously, it is impossible to give advice on such a complex area of law without examining the qualifications and circumstances of the visa applicant in some depth, so this information provided for reference only.
